“Beledo is considered a real myth among music connoisseurs. He has earned his place among the most sophisticated, versatile, and gifted artists of our time.” according to EL PAIS newspaper from his hometown of Montevideo, Uruguay. 

Recently returned from Madrid/Toledo Spain where he performed a sold out concert in the MoonJune Jazz Festival, an allstar three day event. He just finished a US tour playing with the iconic British band Soft Machine.

In Barcelona he recorded his forthcoming album “La Casamurada”. This recording features the legendary musicians, bassist Carles Benavent and flutist Jorge Pardo ~ both known for their work with Paco de Lucia and Chick Corea. It is due for release in 2024.

He did a highly acclaimed world tour headlining the “World Peace Orchestra". 

His grandparents were from Andalucia, Spain. Flamenco music was his heritage. Trained from six years old as a classical and jazz pianist, he became a guitar hero in his late teenage years captivating audiences in Uruguay, Argentina, and Brasil. Quickly his recordings in South America were noticed by the press in the U.S. in articles in Guitar Player and Jazziz magazines. 

Home based in New York he can be seen playing in NYC with South African Jazz band Ojoyo featuring drummer Anton Fig from The Late Show With David Letterman, bassist Bakithi Kumalo from Paul Simon’s Graceland album, and composer-saxophonist Morris Goldberg from the Rosie O’Donnell Show.  Beledo toured with the “Tropical Tribute To The Beatles” featuring Tito Puente, Celia Cruz, Tito Nieves, and an all-star line up of Latin artists. This tour began at Radio City Music Hall and continued through Europe and the Caribbean.

While he was based in Los Angeles, Beledo graduated the UCLA Certified Program for Film Scoring. He produced film music with Peter Aykroyd for the movie, "Nothing But Trouble" starring Dan Aykroyd, Demi Moore, John Candy, and Chevy Chase. He attended the University School of Music in Uruguay and performed classical music recitals on National Public Radio and in various major theatres. His colleague was Negrito Trasante, drummer (Bamboleo) for The Gipsy Kings.

He plays all styles of music from Classical to U2, Beatles, Coldplay, Sinatra, Sting, The Lumineers, Gipsy Kings, and many others.
